The Cotatiwood Barn
backlot and soundstage

The legendary RKO backlot produced some of the most classic cinema of all time. Though we can't boast the same acreage or faux Parisian cul de sac's, we're pretty confident that few backlots of Hollywood's heyday housed farm animals like our barn did. That fact gives us the edge we need to take today's Hollywood by storm. Hollywood may be producing crap, but only at Cotatiwood was it actually mucked.

"Ever been to Cotati, Judy?"
How many times did Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland say if they only had a barn, they'd put on a show? Well, we have one, and we actually ARE putting on a show. And making films, too! All at the beautiful Cotatiwood backlot,
Cotatiwood Artist
located in -- you guessed it -- Cotati, CA. Why Cotati, you ask? For now it's a pretty good guess that we like the Northern California consciousness and believe that a whole new onslaught of conscious art is going to be emerging from this area very soon.

Cotati Fun Fact #72

Hub of Sonoma County

The City of Cotati refers to itself as the "Hub of Sonoma County." The sentiment is sweet, but far from accurate. Maybe it should be known as

"I swear, man, art can change the world."
the "Hub of Drunken Study Breaks" for the hordes of plastered Sonoma State students that flock to the eight bars lining Cotati's single block of business district. Why mention all this? Because there's something delightfully delusional about this quaint little hamlet. Maybe you have to be slightly delusional to believe things like the world isn't flat or that art can change it. Or maybe we're just drunk.
